Give your things to people who need them
I wanted to give my clothes to people who really needed and appreciated them. Shortly after the first load arrived in Africa, I started recruiting and was picking up others clothes that they wanted to give. Find a way!
Feed the hungry
There are millions of people who go to bed hungry every night. I can remember going to the food bank every week as a child and being so grateful for the donations. Someone else cared enough about my family to feed us.
Help mentor youth
Every child needs a support system, love, and guidance. I wanted a platform where I could love on kids and give them what I needed as a child. Most of all, I wanted a safe platform to share Jesus with kids.
Random acts of kindness
Making someone smile is a great feeling. We never know what others are going through, but, what I do know is that doing something kind for others makes whatever you are going through easier. I've made it a habit to give randomly to people I don't know.
Go spend time with the elderly
I try to put myself in their shoes. Many elderly are very lonely. When I was a teenager my grandma was put in a nursing home and never really had any visitors. I made the decision to go every sunday and I did until she passed. When I was there I witnessed the lonliness first hand and it was heart breaking. Go to your local home or hospital and just talk to people, it might change your life while prolonging someone elses.
Donate... Time or Money
Find something you love or a cause you can get behind and spend some time and money on it. You can find something that breaks your heart when you think about it and I guarantee there is already someone working on it that would love your help. There are thousands of organizations in the world helping people. Get in the game, don’t waste your life sitting on the sidelines hording all your blessings. Someone needs you right now!
